CBT Therapist in Norwich – Online Across the UK
Online CBT for anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem — from a fully accredited MBABCP therapist, UK-wide.
How I Can Help
Life can feel overwhelming at times – whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, past trauma or just feeling stuck. I offer a calm, collaborative space to explore what’s going on and work through it together.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. My role is to bring structure, warmth and honesty, so we can make sense of things and find practical steps that feel manageable for you.
How CBT Helps
CBT is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps you understand the patterns keeping you stuck. We’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviours all interact, and how past experiences may still be shaping the way you respond now.
Together we’ll:
- Spot the cycles that keep problems going
- Build practical strategies you can use in daily life
- Understand how you got here – and how to move forward in a way that fits with your values
The aim isn’t to “just think positive”, but to give you tools, insight and confidence that last beyond therapy.
Common Issues I Work With
– using evidence-based CBT, tailored to your goals.
Anxiety
Whether it’s panic attacks, constant worry, social anxiety, or health anxiety, CBT can help you understand the cycle of anxiety and learn strategies to feel more in control. Together, we’ll explore what’s driving the fear and develop practical tools to reduce it.
Depression and Low Mood
If you’re feeling flat, hopeless, or disconnected, you’re not alone. CBT can help you break the cycle of low mood, rebuild motivation, and reconnect with the things that matter to you. We’ll work at your pace, focusing on small, meaningful steps.
Trauma and PTSD
Difficult experiences from the past can leave lasting effects. CBT offers a structured and compassionate approach to help you process trauma, reduce flashbacks or avoidance, and feel safer in your body and mind again.
OCD and Intrusive Thoughts
Obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours can feel overwhelming and isolating. I use evidence-based CBT techniques to reduce distress, challenge unhelpful patterns, and regain a sense of freedom and calm.
Self-Esteem and Confidence
Low self-worth can affect every area of life. Through CBT, we’ll identify negative self-beliefs and start building a more balanced, confident self-view, so you can feel more able to speak up, say no, and pursue what matters to you.
LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy
As someone with lived and professional experience in LBGTQ+ wellbeing, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to explore identity, relationships, and the impact of discrimination. CBT can support you to navigate challenges and feel more grounded in yourself.
